Finding new tires for your vehicle can be an annoyance of the highest order. From finding something within your budget to narrowing down your choice from a massive amount of brands, there is always something there to trip you up. Today, we’ll be attempting to make your life just a bit easier, however, as we dive into the topic of Goodride Tires in our review.
Goodride Tire Company Background
Goodride Tires are most likely not a company that you have ever heard of before. However, that does not make them awful, and it only means you need just a bit of information. As you could probably assume, this brand is just part of a larger company. That company is based out of Hangzhou, China and is called the Zhongce Rubber Group. Despite their name, this is a big company that has bases in four continents- Europe, North America, South America, and Asia, of course. As such, they are one of the top ten tire manufacturers in the world in terms of quantity. The main crux of Goodride Tires is to get you extreme value, which is pretty much their ticket toward having a chance in the market just to some of the bigger, more established names we all know and love.
Goodride Tire Cost and Pricing
There is a very good reason that so many Chinese companies are becoming interested in tires and starting brands. And that has to do with the fact that they see an opportunity to carve out a niche. In most cases, this niche is going to be one of a lower price for its customers. North American and European consumers are largely used to paying decent sums of money for tires. They are well trusted, but it can take a toll on a budget. Like many of their Chinese brethren, Goodride is able to offer very competitive prices, thus making them an option in the market at large.
Goodride Tire Warranties
One way that brands can make themselves stand out from one another is by offering a good, strong tire warranty program. This is especially the case when you look at companies from China, as they often don’t have one of those, or sometimes do not even offer a warranty at all. Unfortunately, it looks like Goodride is following the steps of a lot of others here by not having one to speak of. If they do have one, it is simply not easy to find information on, which leads us to believe that they do not have one. You can always ask and see from whomever you are purchasing from, but it is not a guarantee at all.
Goodride Tire Options
One of the differentiating factors between Goodride and a lot of their competitors is that they offer an abundance of options when it comes to types of tires. They have just about everything that you could think of, literally. Not only do they offer passenger car tires, but they also have tires for big rig trucks, other big work trucks, and even tires for tractors. This is an absurd amount of options for you to pick form, and within each subset they have ever more choices for you to pick from. This should help you out a great deal compared to many that only specialize in one thing or another. As far as finding Goodride Tires is concerned, we find that it will be far from easy to do so. They might not be as hard to find as many, but the chances are slim that you will do so in person, meaning you’ll need to look online to acquire them.
Goodride Tire Technology and Features
A lot of folks would assume that Goodride Tires would not have a whole lot technology built into them. In that regard, there is a little bit of a ‘yes’ and ‘no’ to it. While they do have modern machinery and some tech built into them, they also are not going to have nearly as much ‘new’ stuff as bigger and more established brands. That is because of the price issue. The price being lower just means that brands like this stick with older patterns. They will work just fine, but they will not be anywhere near cutting edge.
Goodride Tire Durability
Some people label all Chinese tires by saying “you get what you pay for.” Most of the time, we would have to agree, but you still never know until you give them a try. Some are better than others, and we count Goodride to be up there among those. They are not the best, even out of China, but we feel that they will hold up decently well in most conditions if you treat them correctly. Having said that, they obviously are not going to be expected to last forever given their low price point.
Goodride Tire Summary & Conclusion
If price is of a major concern and you are looking for a wealth of options to pick from, then look no further than Goodride Tires. These tires come in so many varieties that it will be hard to narrow one down for many. But if you do, you’ll find great value and should get a decent amount of lifespan from them. They won’t be the answer for you forever, but they will hold up long enough to make them worth their while.
