When you are looking for tires, a lot of questions come to mind. One of those, naturally, is going to evolve around what kind of tires you want. That’s because most tire manufacturers are geared towards cars, trucks or SUVs. Atturo Tires, though, is a little bit different than those, so let’s buckle up and get ready for this review about them.
Atturo Tire Company Background & Information
One glance at Atturo’s website is enough to realize that there is something different about them. They truly are rebels in a landscape of boringness, just to be honest. Tires can be dull to many, but the do an excellent job at making them appear to be otherwise. Starting relatively recently, back in 2009, the private brand began operations.
From the very start, they wanted to bring 4X4 ‘light’ truck drivers and SUV owners something a little bit different from what they were used to. They wanted to offer unique, high quality products that stand out for as low a price as possible. Over a decade later now, they remain in business due to their success at being able to do just that.
They initially began with just ‘performance’ tires, meant for the road but also to be super high quality, before they expanded into other offerings, such as off road tires and even some specialty tires. They are to the point now where they are probably more recognized for their off road stuff, so things have certainly changed and been turned upside down for them in that regard! They now distribute tires to 30 countries. Not bad for a fairly new company at all!
Atturo Tire Cost and Pricing
One of the things that Atturo wants to do above all is provide you with a high quality product. With that being said, they do not want to make you pay over the odds for it, either. So, what you can expect from Atturo is a good, solid price point to pay while still getting a decent amount of quality. A point to remember here is that off road tires and specialty tires usually cost you more than a regular tire. So if you are factoring a ‘normal’ tire into the equation, then you are looking at it all wrong.
We want to compares apples to apples, not apples to orange, and the only way to do that is to look at tires in that niche market against one another. When you do that, you will find that Atturo are competitive in price without being too cheap. There are some brands out there that just don’t cost enough, and it makes you raise an eyebrow about their overall level of tire quality.
Atturo Tire Warranty
As is the case with nearly all companies that carry a warranty on their products, Atturo Tires offer a ‘limited’ warranty. This should not be a cause of concern for you; it is merely a reminder than all companies are going to protect themselves while also giving you that recourse. The good news is that Atturo has a warranty. There are plenty of brands that don’t have one at all, so this is massive for you and your confidence as a consumer. All Atturo Tires come with a three year defect warranty, first off.
They also have the ‘standard’ coverage that will cover you on the tread for up to 2/32’’. You can learn more about their warranties on their website or by asking a potential dealer. This is a good deal in our estimations, as off road tires can take quite the beating and tend to have lesser lifespan than ‘regular’ road tires do.
Tire Options
When Atturo got off to a start, it was with tires that were mainly for the road. Sure, you could take them off road a bit, but it wasn’t the predominant thing. Nowadays, though, that has been flipped on its head. Look down below, and you can see that to be the case, with five different off road options- the Trail Blade series- being offered to you.
Each is a little different, with some that go on all terrains and others that specialize in one area. They still have their performance line, too, though, so if you are just looking for a good, dependable set of tires for the road, they also have that available to you as well. They’ve even got a few trailer tires and a winter tire, too, if you are living in a harsh condition.
They have a good blend of options without going too far and producing too much that is sure to lack quality. As far as finding them goes, this brand will not be the easiest, since it is not exactly household. But it will get easier and easier to find them as we progress, and they are also sure to be far from the hardest to find.
Atturo Tire Technologies and Features
In terms of technology, it is clear to see how it is incorporated into Atturo’s line of tires. They have three distinct lines, and that means that they have to be good at engineering them to hold in varied conditions. Each specific model is going to be a little bit unique, as they will have properties that make them more adept at certain things. Speaking of features that you will like, the thing we have noticed is that this is a very aesthetically appealing brand. This brand is not a lifestyle brand, per se, but they do place a big emphasis on good looking tires. This in addition to getting the job done is very nice to see.
Atturo Tire Durability
Atturo Tires are not going to be the longest lasting sets of tires on the market, but they also should not be viewed as a company that will not have tires hold up very well, either. These tires come with a generous warranty, as far as off road tires go, and they are equipped with an adequate amount of quality to them.
One thing that might disappoint some is that the road based tires have the same length of warranty as the off road ones do. This is not a huge deal to us, as they still are relatively low priced, but that may cause you to decide to go elsewhere. Overall, we like the durability on show, and we believe that you will, too.
Summary & Final Recommendation
If you are on the hunt for a brand of tires for your 4×4 truck or SUV that will make you stand out and perform as well as you can possibly do in a wide array of climates and off road environments, then look no further. Atturo Tires are able to hold up quite well in relation to most in this sector, and they come to you at a decent price, giving you a whole ton of value. On top of that, they look tremendous and will make your vehicle pop. What more could you ask for!?
