Lexani Tires Review 2022

On the search for tires, you can run into many pitfalls.  One of those is simply not knowing anything about the company you have encountered.  In a world where brand names are just so vital to us, it’s crucial to know a little bit of something about where your tires came from.  Today we will be doing that by taking a look into Lexani tires in our review to provide you with all that you need to know on them.

Lexani Tire Company Background & Information

As you may or may not be able to tell, the name this company has chosen- ‘Lexani’- harbors certain ideas.  One of them is of luxury.  That is confirmed with one look at their website.  This is a brand that is definitely very big on looks, placing a large amount of their resources on them.  That means you can count on these looking absolutely exquisite on your car, truck, or SUV

The main reason for this is because this is a brand that began by being in the wheel importation business.  So that makes sense.  But apart from that style question, what is this brand about?  It’s so easy to look at looks and apply a tag to things in today’s world, but this brand is not just about that.  Coming to you from a base in California, these tires are part of a company that also includes a brand called ‘RBP All Terrain Tires.’  Despite that base, though, make not mistake about it.

These tires are made in China, so you do need to keep that fact in mind.  Most of our focus is going to be with and remain firmly on Lexani only, but it does help to have further background knowledge.  Whenever you see a couple of brands under one umbrella, it no doubt ratchets up confidence a bit by informing you that they have mastered something to do with the business.  At any rate,

Lexani Tire Cost and Pricing

If you are on a budget, then this is never going to be a terrible choice for you to go with.  Lexani tires, as we mentioned, are made in China, so that fact is always going to help drive the costs down as low as possible.  Tire manufacturing is easier to do in other places as well, but China can provide you with some of the lowest costs, relatively speaking, due to the fact that labor costs are lower.

There are other factors as well, of course, but that is the main thing.  You do get what you pay for, so there are some concerns to rightfully have, but none of which should be too overpowering to you.  Compared to other Chinese tires, they come in at the same price, or close thereto, and they have better quality, in our estimation, making them a no-brainer for some folks that are on a budget.

Lexani Tire Warranty

With the lower price point you will pay for Lexani, it should come as no real surprise that their warranty program is not going to be among the best you have ever seen.  With that being said, we also have to commend them and state that it’s also far from the worst.  It looks like most of them have a limited warranty that extends for up to 30,000 miles.

It’s not a ton, no, but with so many of the other brands that come from China, you literally get nothing.  Or if they do have a warranty, you have to ask for it and will then have a hard time getting a hold of them if you ever need to cash in on it.  With Lexani, this is not as big of an issue, though when compared to higher priced tires, you’re definitely not getting that same amount of coverage.

Tire Options

When you look at the website, you do get inundated with a lot of luxurious appeal.  This might have you believing these tires are only for cars, but that is not the case.  They also make tires for SUV’s, regular old cars, and even trucks, too.  So there is a bit of ‘luxury’ for everyone at an affordable, reasonable price to pay.  This is, obviously, good news for a bigger swath of people than you might have imagined.

They all look nice and come in various sizes, too, which should help you out a ton in deciding if you want to turn to them or not.  They don’t have the most options ever, but they also don’t have the fewest, either.  We like this, as we feel that companies that have too many ‘skews’ end up being overwhelmed and don’t produce as good of a product.  With a decent amount of them, instead, you can see that they work on getting the most out of them.

Lexani Tire Technologies and Features

One of the things you can quickly discern about these tires is that they do not have a ton of things that stand out about them.  They are made with a very familiar tread pattern in a lot of cases, therefore indicating that they are not really at the forefront of technology.  This is not necessarily a bad thing, mind you, it’s just something that makes this brand stand out from the next.

Because of this fact, though, you have to believe that the tires are not going to perform as well as some of the bigger, well known brands throughout the world.  Again, this is not a deal breaker by any means due to the fact that they are also not going to be at that same price.  If so, you’d be highly disappointed but because they are not, there isn’t much of a reason to be upset.

So, by using a pattern that is in common with other brands, it does help cut cost and also just so happens to mean that they are relying on older technology.  Good but older nonetheless.  The main feature, of course, has to be the looks, which are a huge emphasis.  If you are looking for that luxurious look but can’t get yourself to spend a ton of money, this is going to be one of the better choices you could happen to fall upon.

Tire Durability

The great news about Lexani, for all the talk about their looks and the like, is that they do last quite a long time.  These tires are durable and can hold up under a lot of pressure and use.  With that said, we don’t believe they are going to be the most durable out there, seeing as how they are not up to the same pricing standard as many of the bigger brands.  You get what you pay for, so to speak, and this proves that to be true.  They will last you a long time relative to the money that you are being asked.

You also sometimes get a (natural) bit of worry when you see a really good looking piece of equipment because you are just unsure if it will hold up.  With these, you do get a lot of durability, however, so that should help ease your mind a bit.  Some of the bad bits of news, though, have to do with how well they operate.  They do have issues, generally, with being noisy as you go about driving on them over time.  For a while they will be quiet, but they will get worse as time goes on.

To some folks this is not much of a factor, but some people can’t stand it and will no doubt be looking elsewhere for their ultimate choice.  This part is just a matter of pure and simple preference, so we can’t tell you if it’s worth your time or not in this regard.  The fact that the tires are made in China, though, can be a red flag for some people.  The ‘buyer beware’ sticker is applied right away by some, but we feel that is a little bit harsh.  You can get poorly made tires from anywhere and any company, don’t be fooled by that.  Are tires from China more likely to come up short of your expectations?  Probably yes, but that does not mean they are the worst thing you have ever come across, either.  Don’t expect too much and have too high of hopes and you’ll be just fine in this regard.

Summary & Final Recommendations

Buying tires can oftentimes be a drag, but if you want to make sure that you are not paying more than you have to and looking nice, then going with Lexani might just be the way for you to go.  Some might consider them to be a bit of a ‘gamble,’ but as far as Chinese tires go, these are about as safe as they come.  We don’t see them being the best, but we also have them being far from the worst.  Thus, they are worth your time if you are on a budget and want some decent durability from your ride.
